Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Do you experience intrusive, unwanted thoughts that feel disturbing or out of character?
Do you feel compelled to perform mental or behavioral rituals to relieve anxiety or doubt?

OCD is maintained by a cycle of obsessions and compulsions that can become increasingly restrictive over time. Treatment is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard approach for OCD.

Through gradual, supported exposure, we reduce compulsive behaviors while strengthening your ability to tolerate distress and uncertainty—helping you build trust in yourself rather than in rituals.

Anxiety & Perfectionism

Is your mind constantly racing ahead—anticipating problems, replaying conversations, or striving to get things “just right”?
Does perfectionism feel motivating at times but exhausting or limiting in the long run?

Anxiety and perfectionism often reinforce one another, leading to overcontrol, avoidance, or chronic pressure to perform. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we work to quiet mental overactivity, increase tolerance for uncertainty, and loosen the belief that worth must be earned through flawlessness.

The goal is not to eliminate high standards, but to help you relate to them with flexibility and balance.

Eating Disorders & Body Image

Do thoughts about food, weight, or your body take up more mental space than you’d like?
Do eating rules or body checking feel difficult to loosen, even when part of you wants more flexibility?

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating patterns, including restrictive eating, binge eating, purging behaviors, and persistent body dissatisfaction. These concerns often overlap with anxiety, perfectionism, and a strong drive for control or achievement.

Treatment is grounded in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), the leading evidence-based approach for eating disorders. Our work focuses on restoring flexible, regular eating; reducing the intensity and influence of body- and weight-related thoughts; and strengthening a sense of identity that extends beyond appearance or performance. Treatment is collaborative, thoughtfully paced, and always trauma-informed.

Depression

Do you feel persistently low, disconnected, or depleted—even when life looks “fine” on the outside?
Has motivation faded, or do everyday tasks feel heavier than they used to?

Depression can affect mood, energy, concentration, sleep, and self-worth. Therapy offers a structured, compassionate approach to understanding the patterns that maintain depressive symptoms while supporting reconnection with meaning, values, and purpose.

Treatment focuses on building momentum, restoring engagement, and cultivating hope through evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapies.

Self-Esteem & Identity

Do you find yourself constantly evaluating whether you’re “good enough”?
Does your sense of worth rise and fall based on achievement, approval, or comparison?

Low self-esteem often develops quietly and becomes deeply ingrained, shaping how you relate to yourself, others, and your goals. I work with adolescents and adults who struggle with chronic self-criticism, shame, or a fragile sense of identity.

Therapy focuses on understanding the origins of these patterns and developing a steadier, more compassionate relationship with yourself—one rooted in authenticity, values, and internal confidence rather than external validation.
